Photo Op Stop
Fall is fast approaching, and with it comes the anticipation of viewing and photographing the changing colors of the landscape. It hasn't quite started, but there are signs that it is near.
While traveling back to Traverse City from Grayling, I stopped in Kalkaska to do some produce shopping at Cherry Street Market. The minute I stepped out of the truck, I realized I needed to grab the camera. The market was a hub of shopping activity, with customers selecting the best of the end of summer's harvest. Apples, pumpkins, squash, and gourds, along with an array of produce was proudly displayed under canopies and outdoor umbrellas.
Mum's the word, but not a secret!
That's right. Mums are the word here, and a sure sign that fall is on its way! The outdoor garden area is an explosion of color that beckons you to wander the aisles. Your visual senses will not be disappointed.
So, while you're waiting for this year's fall color displays to begin, head on over to the outdoor market and get a visual appetizer, and take home a pot of mums!
